Below are some tips on how to search and browse the Pony site effectively:

Tip 1 - General Instructions

To search simply enter the artist name (See Tip 2), recording title, or record label into the black search box to the left. Then choose how to search, either by Artist, Title or Label from the dropdown menu. Click the search button and your search results will be displayed.

Tip 2 - Searching Artist Names

We store artists names in our database with their surname first so to search for an artist like Michael Jackson for example you would need to enter:

Jackson, Michael

Using this approach will give you the best possible results from our database.

Tip 3 - Browsing

We have added a browsing feature that allows you to look through the stock items we have by choosing a letter, a genre, and by choosing your preferred format. For example if you wanted to search for all artists starting with 'R' that were in the Electronic genre and only on CD you could do so using the browse facility in the yellow browse box to the left.
